We want you to thoroughly enjoy your stay in Cape May. And understanding the following points will help.
What to bring….
You supply your own pillow cases, sheets, towels and beach chairs. Most kitchens are well- equipped but you may want to bring a favorite electric frying pan and coffee pot. You may not install any air-conditioning equipment.
When to arrive….
Check in time is between 2:00pm. and 5:00 pm. But not before2:00pm. To check in, stop at By the Sea Realty at Washington Commons 315 Ocean Street-Suite 2B to register and get your key. If you or any of your party arrives early do not go to your rental as the previous guest will be cleaning and packing. The unit should be clean- if there is a problem please notify our office immediately.
If you will be a late arrival, after 5:00 pm, please call our office and make arrangements with your rental agent to pick up your key (609) 884-3050.)
About checking out….
Check-out time is no later than 10:00A.M. on your last day. Do not leave the keys at the rental. They must be returned to our office. Before you lock up, be sure to check that you left the rental as clean and orderly as you found it.
Pet Policy….
We love them too, but there absolutely can be no pets in any rental unit. Owners consider concealed pets cause for eviction and forfeiture of rent, so please make other arrangements.
Number of occupants….
Your lease indicates the maximum number of people, including children that may occupy your rental unit. This is set by the owner.
If there is a breakdown….
Appliances, televisions and air-conditioners cannot be guaranteed, but we must know about a problem promptly so we can correct it. There is no refund in the event of failure, but we will notify the owner to have repairs made as soon as possible. Check your refrigerator. If it is not frost-free do not set it on the highest or coldest setting as this may cause the fan to freeze so that the refrigerator will not cool.

Cancellations….
Your rental has been removed from the market and is reserved for you. If you must cancel, notify us as soon as possible and we will try to rent it again. If we can, you will receive a refund less a 10% service charge. If we cannot, no refund will be made.
